updated... (13. May 2007 - 10:19 am)

hey again!
today I've updated the whole thing...
don't think it's finished jet, it's still in it's deepest alpha-phase!
I've just started to implement the IRC-functionality... the normal chatting already works pretty well.
- it's only updated so the interested developers see the idea behind sending irc-messages on same port with normal messages!

short description: (08. May 2007 - 10:47 am)

JIRC is a chat(msn/icq like) solution, which is not only capable of the internal chat-functionality,
but can also work with IRC servers.
The funniest thing about the whole junk is, that you can freely choose the port, over wich u want to communicate with the server! (interesting for networks with blocked ports!! *ggg*)
To run JIRC, you need to have java-runtime-enviroment installed! (download Java)
We haven't got a public server so far, so up to now you've got to create your own .. (funny thing on lanparties etc.. think about!)
